Abstracted Exhibition March 5 – 16, 2019 Featuring 55 Canadian artists, "Abstracted" will exhibit the full range of abstracted works. It includes artwork that takes inspiration from the light abstractions contained in Impressionism all the way to the large-scale abstractions of Expressionists. The Federation will exhibit both, and everything in between for a colossal collection of all things "Abstracted". Life Drawing offers benefits in communication abilities, motor skills, mental health. And it is also really FUN! Easels and drawing boards are provided – just bring your drawing supplies!  Models are draped and un-draped in these self-directed sessions. 16yrs+ Members pay: $40 for 5 sessions Non-Members pay: $50 for 5 sessions Drop-in cards do not expire. *note there is no life drawing drop-in on the following dates: March 22 & 29

On December 20, 2018 the Lower Mainland felt the impact of an unforgiving wind storm, White Rock’s historic pier buckled and broke apart that day. Like other locals, the images of the destruction of the pier struck a chord with the White Rock Youth Ambassadors who began a fundraising effort. Eight weeks later, they also have helped create a celebration to recognize this iconic part of White Rock’s identity through art.
