Four Seasons at the Fen: GUIDED WALK OF THE SERPENTINE FEN

Inspired by Vivaldi’s Four Seasons this Photography Exhibition & Community Event features images of the Serpentine Fen captured over the space of one calendar year by local photographer and arts advocate Barbara Cooper.

Barbara’s keen eye for composition and her sense of place communicates nature in transition through the seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

On Saturday morning, March 2nd, 9:00am join Liz Walker of the White Rock and Surrey Naturalists for a guided walk of the Serpentine Fen. Walk goes drizzle or shine.

Follow 44th Avenue off of King George Highway (next to Art Knapps)

Formerly an Environmental Specialist with BC Hydro’s Powertech Labs, Liz Walker now dedicates her time to working with a broad range of environmental and community organizations. Currently she is president of the White Rock and Surrey Naturalists as well as serving on the boards of Surrey Environmental Partners, Burns Bog Conservation Society, and the Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust. In 2004, she was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubiliee Medal for her outstanding volunteer contributions to community.
