December 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for an evening of exploring the world of music and the cultural influences that drive its evolution. Expand and enhance your musical palate through listening labs and discussion. Imagine a book club for music lovers.
Since as far back as the 1940’s North American music buffs have been listening to Latin American sounds. Whether it was the big band sounds of Tito Puente; or the jazzy sounds of Brazilian Bossa Nova; or the pounding rock of Carlos Santana – we fell in love with the romance, passion, and intimacy of Spanish, Mexican and Portuguese speaking artists. Latin music has as many genres and styles as any other form of music and features everything from Blues and Jazz to Rock and Soul as well as regional interpretations from the Andes, Cuba, and the Caribbean. Lets take a look and listen at the evolution of Latin music in North America.
