Double Exposure: Ekphrastic POETRY CHALLENGE
Everyone is welcome to enter our Double Exposure: Ekphrastic Poetry Challenge!
An ekphrastic poem is a vivid description of a scene or, more commonly, a work of art. Through the imaginative act of narrating and reflecting on the “action” of a painting or sculpture, the poet may amplify and expand its meaning.
Create poetry based on the Double Exposure Photography exhibition in the Turnbull & Corridor Galleries at South Surrey Rec. & Arts Centre.
There are 3 ways to access the gallery to write your poetry:
- Drop-in for scheduled ekphrastic poetry sessions on Saturday April 7 & 14 from 12pm-2pm
