A 12-week workshop in discovering and recovering your creative self – with a weekly gathering of 1.5 hours. The workshop will be facilitated as its author, Julie Cameron, intended. Saturdays from 10:30am-12pm, starting January 13th and ending April 7. This is a free workshop for Semiahmoo arts members. Week 1: Intro  Week 2: Safety, Week 3: Identity, Week 4: Power, Week 5: Integrity, Week 6: Possibility, Week 7: Abundance, Week 8: Connection, Week 9: Strength,  Week 10: Compassion, Week 11: Self-Protection, Week 12: Autonomy, Week 13: Faith This workshop is free of charge for Semiahmoo Arts Members. Call for Submissions: The City of White Rock in partnership with Semiahmoo Arts is currently accepting submissions to The Love Show: Portraits of Passion as part of the Art on Display program. All artists are invited to submit a maximum of three portraits of people or animals they adore in celebration of Valentine’s Day. All mediums are welcome. Size restrictions: 2-d artwork can be no larger than 24”x36” including frame. 3-d artwork can be no larger than 12”x12”x12”. That’s a wrap on this year’s Paint the Town plein air competition! The goal for this event was to continue to document our changing community through plein air painting. This year we joined forces with 11 local businesses and created dialogue between art and commerce in White Rock.  We also awarded $950 to 4 deserving artists to help fund their artistic practice.
