Sketching Journey: Explore historic and contemporary scenic beauty found in Oahu’s living
landscape and in archival photos while concurrently practicing swift sketching, capturing
memorable encounters with pen and watercolor brush. Sketching subjects include historic and
contemporary Honolulu, architectural gems like The Royal Hawaiian hotel, iconic sights such
as Diamond Head volcanic cone, the windward coast, plantation remnants and historic
markers. Hiroshi will provide sketching and painting guidance as desired.
Logistics: The sketching journey will begin and end at Diamond Head Beach Hotel from here
we will make day trips to various destinations, Participants will arrange their flights to and from
Cost: CA$ 2,960 (per person based on double occupancy) includes 8 nights
accommodation, meals, land transportation and entrance fees.
