Semiahmoo Arts also worked with the Richard to coordinate collaborative mural workshops which involved local artists in designing and drawing the south facing wall mural. A public meeting is being held on a proposed Performing Arts Centre and Contemporary Arts Cafe & Gallery. The new centre, proposed as part of a residential tower development planned for 152nd Street at 19th Ave, may be able to help create a cultural hub in South Surrey. The public meeting is a drop-in format and will last from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesday October 22nd at the Rotary Field House, 14600 Rotary way.
