“Elfindale” The novel by Canadian author Ian Lauder When Variety magazine – the entertainment industry bible – received local author Ian Lauder’s advertisement, such was its quality and visual appeal that they immediately gave it top billing, a $32,000 upgrade to the magazine’s inside front cover – gratis! The piece promotes Lauder’s seven-book fantasy series, Elfindale, as ripe for feature-film development, as well as other screen-adaptable titles. Richard Tetrault Mural unveiling Semiahmoo Arts selected Richard Tetrault to paint a mural celebrating the community’s diversity of arts on the South and East facing walls of the Semiahmoo Arts Building in Centennial Park. Semiahmoo Arts also worked with the Richard to coordinate collaborative mural workshops which involved local artists in designing and drawing the south facing wall mural. The local artists chosen for this project were Mallory Donen, Adam Lipschultz, Jeff Wilson, and Jolayne Devente.
